WEEK 5 RECAP
Hello Santa Fe Swish basketball community! Thank you for your support and participation in our leagues!
Week 5 was a good one! In the Comp League Mob vs Degenerates started us off with an exciting overtime game that Degenerates won 71-69 behind 43 points from Mario Archuleta!
Dad Bods put up a tough game agaisnt the heavily favored Team Nuevo but lost 87-95 with Josh Salazar's 35 points leading a balanced attack for Team Nuevo, Dom Baca (18) Marcos Aragon (13)pts (11)reb
In our 3rd game, Heatwave defeated Crazies 94-73 behind an impressive 35 pts from newcomer Julian Gutierrez and 14 pts 15 rebs from Ryan Trujillo.
The Rec League started off with a great game between 505 Unit and Blakes Lotta Buckets with 505 Unit coming out on top 78-75 behind 21 pts 9 rebs from Angel Parra leading a balanced offensive attack. Eli Dawson and Isaac Shanley were notable in the loss with 27 and 26 pts respectively.
Hoopers remained undefeated on the season with a tough 65-62 win over Nothing But Net with Carlos Quintana and Diego Ortiz leading Hoopers with 25 and 24 point efforts.
And in the night cap it was 2nd Stringers coming out on top with a tough 69-61 victory. Wilford Troup and Bailey Lozada were too tough putting up 21 pts and 20 pts as a 1-2 punch to out perform Dedrick Johnson's double double (18pts) (10rebs)
On Thursday the 35 Over League had 2 games. SF Elite falling to Zia Elite 88-39 and 505 Unit besting Myer Bros 84-61.

Mondays: 5-8pm and Thursdays: 5:30-8pm
Get some shots up with your teammates or friends, play pick up ball, stretch in the upstairs workout facility and work on your game or fitness.
